Only two dorms had internet hook ups, other than that it was all in the computer labs. Also had to pay for internet based on megabyte used. Don't expect housing like in the states, the flat I lived in on campus had a wood burning stove for it's primary heating source.

Do not buy travel insurance in the states, during registration they make you buy a specific type of insurance. Make sure you have it, or you will be double insured. Also make sure to travel around both islands, and to take classes with field trips. It is a beautiful country that is easy to get around.

Lincoln is a great Uni, it is small which was a nice change for me and the poeple were so nice. Lincoln was challenging, but I learned a lot in addition.

New Zealand is a beautiful country with so much oppurtunity. The nightlife is always going off, the people are so accepting and the lifestyle is so laid back.

I think they need to have a better staff. Staff needs to care more and be interested in their students. Try portray the university honestly so people can recommend the unviersity to others

I think the marketing of lincoln university doesn't match realtiy. A lot of the things they say are not true. But the most important thing is the imporvement of their academic level. I got my postgraduate diploma but I will never go for master or phd. Academic staff are not performing up to par. If you do a master or phd you are going to be on your own. Don't recommend this university.
