I advise you to simply go and have fun, becuse your going to love it. Lund University employees are there to help you and guide you all the way through so there is really nothing to worry about as long as all the paper work is properly done.

Dont be shy to meet new people, make friends. Dont stay in your room studying all the time, but dont stay outside all the time partying either. Finding a balance between social and accademic life is the key to have a great time at Lund University.

I would recommend to come to Lund and make the most of your time here, try to travel around Sweden as Lund is a perfect starting point. Enjoy the lifestyle and try to get to know as many people from all over the world as possible it gives you a real insight into different cultures.

If you are interested in discovering scandinavia and northern Europe you have to go there.
If you want to meet and acculturate with swedish people you'd better go somewhere else in Sweden, or at least not leave in an international residence.

It's very wise to plan already in advance which courses you want, where you want to stay (apply as soon as possible for a room!), and how you go there (I recommend by car or plane)
