The housing was good. There is one unit, which consists of two rooms, bathroom and toilette. That means, in this unit live two students, each having his own room. Sometimes it was a bit cold in there, but in general I felt comfortable. The only thing I hated was the presence of cockroaches!!

Living on campus at Moscow State University have the opportunity to easily meet and interact with Russians living in the dorm giving you more language practice, and cultural exposure.

I feel that the Moscow State University dorm is incredible. It is a massive building filled with culture and history. The dorm rooms were a perfect size, and access to the humanities building easy for classes. The neighborhood was safe, it was kept clean and we had a contact for any possible issues that could arise. I really could not have asked for anything more.

As to me, it is good to live in the campus. It costs less, and easy to get to the others. It was really a happy time in my life.

Why?

The appartment market in Moscow is not easy to navigate, and it is easy to be ripped off. The dorm is close to campus and you meet other students easily that way.

For 75 bucks a month I got a single room in a block of two rooms with a bathroom. The building was the Glavnoe Zdanie (Main Building) on MSU campus, the room was just remodeled and 7 sq meters. Great location and wonderful roommate.
