Onkel Donalds, or the own BI pub Kotler plus there are plenty of cafees around the area.

Anker is a housing for all the foreigners mainly who apply for residence permit in Norway, so it tends to be not such a quite nice neighbourhood. Plus I would have expected a little more from the facilities for the price. But it is very close to school and the city which is nice.

I wish I could have spoken more Norwegain but since all Norwegians are fluently in English, it was quite hard to find anybody with who I could speak Norwegian.

Well some people say you should go to REMA 1000 which is a cheap place, but the only real advice I can give is to bring food from home which lasts long. the students trip are good priced too usually.

It is a great university, where the students try to involve everybody in form of clubs organizations parties. The teachers are easy to approach.

For cheap shopping, go on a cruise to Denmark or drive over to Sweden. Also Sæfflebussen is a cheap way to visit Goteborg or Stockholm. Bring a private insurance since the normal insurance doesn't cover everything

make sure you check out All the possibilities offered by the three different parts of the school namely BI NMH NVH. Sometimes people tend to miss out some opportunities.
