In my opinion:
Everybody loved it, you will too!
Important factors in my choice
(1) Unimportant – (4) Very important
Personal recommendation
I loved the time at QM. The people I had contact with were very helpful. Although I had to find out many (mostly administrative) things on my own. But it is the same in Germany. So no need to worry about that.

Final comments
Don't miss the introducing events which I had one week before the semester started. If the university does not tell you that ask for it! You will find many ERASMUS students there.
All in all: You won't be disappointed.

Housing
Type of housing: flat share
Arranged by: Independently - I had no other choice
If returning, I would choose: flat share
Why?
You life together with other people. Mostly students. If you are lucky you might find a flat share with english people (you will see other ERASMUS students anyway!).

Personal comments
Due to shortage of rooms I was not able to life on the campus. This might have been changed now. Living in halls is definitely much easier and usually less expensive than on the "free market".

To get started do not miss the Drapers bar on the campus or the Hayfield bar on Mile End Road. This will get boring after a time but -- hey -- you are in London!
