The university looks better on the brochures than in real life. Still, you can feel everyday that you're in China, and I guess this cultural shock is what you expect when you go abroad.

travel with local currency, which is YUAN we cannot use credit cards only for withdrawals.
prepare medical drugs, we can easily catch something.
take taxis, cabs, it is easier, faster and very cheap for foreigners.
