Some of courses were in local language (German), some of the them were in English. I had intermediate German knowledge before visiting host country and during study period it improved a bit.

People in Austria tend to talk in english as soon as they realise that your german is not Perfect... this is a little bit annoying since I was trying to improve their language.

it was difficult, first mouth, to understand all. but most of austrians speak speak english. then, some problemswith the different dialects, out of vienna

It wasn't easy to understand what people were talking in german when I arrived, but after 2 months, things were much easier, but still difficult.

Now i can speak German more fluently also i have never experience any problem in English because of my special high school education
