The center has a lot of night spots but if you get to know the spanish people they will show you more amazing places outside of the city center. Through the school, ASEE, you can sign up to get emails for many activities that take place during the semester. Its a great way to meet students but also remember to mix with the locals to learn spanish in the best posible way! Remember not to hang out with people that come from diferent countries than yourself to get the most out of your experience with new cultures.

just expect things to be different and try everything that is new no matter how different it is. try to make friends or if you have a family, spend a lot of time with them. it helps to really take in the culture
