OverallComo siempre, son los profesores los que hace que una asignatura sea mejor o peor. Algunos de ellos están obsoletos y se limitan a leer temarios de hace un millón de años ofreciendo clases magistrales y esperando al final de la hora para irse. Otros se implican de verdad en el aprendizaje del alumno y tratan de proponer retos y ofrecer ayuda y material adicional para quien se interese.

A pesar de que finalicé mis estudios en el año 2014, puedo decir que mi experiencia en la Facultad de Traducción e Interpretación de Granada (situada en pleno centro) fue la mejor experiencia que un universitario puede tener.
Junto a la calidad y belleza del edificio, se encuentran todos y cada uno de los profesores, de los de siempre, de los buenos. De los que están disponibles para ayudar y para guiar en el camino.

I lived at home with my parents before so all was free, and transport was less because I didn´t have car insurance or gas to pay, just bus passes and taxis sometimes. The food seemed cheaper and everyone used cel phones instead of house phones, so I had to pay for that too which I wouldn´t usaully at home.

Try to avoid Imobilarios- reaestate offices because they´ll make you pay a deposit and the particulares usually don´t. I didn´t have to buy text books, just a lot of copies made at the facultad. Also, ask your professor if it is necessary to purchass all the books, maybe you only have to read half and therefore only buy half. Set up a bank account and have money transferred from home so that you don´t have to pay ATM fees. Buy an internet cafe bono- pass that results in cheaper rates.

I wish I had known...
I wish I had more information about the Univerity in general and the couses I could do. I didn't know anithing when I arrived in granada, because my University didn't tell me about it. I discovered there that there werw two semesters, courses of six and nine cfu, not exactly as in Italy, anf things like that. there'a a lot of burocracy before and after the erasmus.

It's not a very big Univerity, but for this reason is well organized and at the same time the Uni. and in the city there are great cultural events. The same course is done once in the morning and once in the evening.

I suggest erasmus incoming in Granada to go the associaton of Erasmus student, because they always organize great parties, and the cheapest travels, to go to Cadiz, Sevilla and more...

La realización del grado en la UGR ha sido una grata experiencia ya que cuenta con una gran cantidad de recursos para el estudiante (becas, cursos y talleres, viajes, formaciones externas al grado, etc). Además, los contenidos del grado cumplen con las expectativas, pues obtenemos una gran cantidad de información de interés directamente relacionada con la carrera, sin añadir contenido extra de relleno.
