Since this was my second time studying in Sevilla and I knew the city and the university I had a easier time than most students. I learned well but in Sevilla the spanish speak a lot faster so it was hard at times.
Speak to the Teachers as much as possible. Make sure they know who you are and that they see you attending regularly and things become easier at exam time.

Wednesday nights at Caramelo were the erasmus student nights, for an international night calle betis is where you can find many english and americans, a couple of bars worth visiting are Long Island and Fundicion.
Had been told about the safety and the pick-pocketing which was an issue for me.
