Portuguese people are very open towards strangers and they listen to you and try to help you to learn the language. They are always very happy that someone wants to learn Portuguese.
A lot of individual and group work, so when you are choosing a course, choose the one you are really interested in, cause in that way you can actually learn a lot.

I had problems with the landlady, she was a bit strange and she was living with us, but that wasn't host university's fault. However, it's not easy to find a house in Lisbon and I have to thank the secretary of the Erasmus office who helped me a lot in my search.
