Try to benefit from the fact that courses are offered both in French and in German. This is the only totally bilingual university in Europe!

In retrospect, I probably should have lived with a bunch of Swiss students instead of other international students.

Get the most out of it. They offer great international law courses. The 'language improvement' and travel opportunities are limitless.

Great destination. Academically speaking not a walk in the park. You have to do the work, no priviliges for international students. Having both German and French as language of instruction is a challenge.

The fact that both the town and the unversity have an almost 50/50 mix of French/German speakers, make it an interesting and challenging experience. I did find myself speaking English a lot as well with the international crowd.
