I learned a basic knowledge of spanish which has helped a lot later, for example travelling and working in Mexico, and now, as I'm going to barcelona.

I did a Spanish course and then I learned Spanish by attending university and by speaking with friends.Now I can speak Spanish at every level.I did the Cervantes Exam too at the end of the year.

Why?
Easy to find and very cheap comapred to the UK - 200e for a large double room (single rooms can be a lot cheaper). Best to share with spanish students, or students who don't speak your language.

I loved the la Misión in the Barrio. You have to go to Mulligans and O'Connell's before you go to la Misión. The Puerto is the best place to go once la Misión closes, which is about 04:00.
