I wish I had known...
I had already know this, but I know that other students said that they had wished they had known that everyone dresses really nicely. There were times when certain students felt uncomfortable because they were underdressed (shorts, tee-shirt, flip-flops, etc), and many found themselves buying clothes there. Best to bring nice clothes with you so that you don't have to spend the money when you get there buying new stuff unless you were already planning on shopping there.

A great university. Knowledgable professors, helpful program directors and assistants, and a great location in the center of the city. I would highly recommend it to pretty much anyone.

It definitely helps to have atleast a basic level of spanish. It is not a very touristy city, so not too many people speak english.

Overall

I wish I had known...
I wish I had already a room before going (e.g., found in a previous trip). I spent a lot of time looking for a room.

This university is good but you have to do the projects between courses.

I wish I had known...
That I wouldnt get too stressed in finding somewhere to stay. Being sent to a foreign country without any accommodation is quite daunting, however...there are posters and advertisements everywhere, so you're bound to find something! I came out on the 7th September, and found my place on the 9th! My advice is you dont leave your searching too late! Because lots of students arrive mid-end september!

Be open to how things are different from the UK in particular. Of course there are some positives and negatives, but in order for you to enjoy your time be open minded!!

Overall

Tenemos tutores y mentores especializados. En general, ayudan mucho en el proceso.
