If dance music is your thing, Liquid has an amazing floor- also the Priory ( this renovated old church). My favourite pubs/meeting places were the Wild Boar and Henry J Beans for the delectable 2 for 1 cocktails:)

I stayed at Crombie Johnston before moving to Hillhead,- in both places the living space is crowded and you might not click with your five flatmates

Hillhead is a fitting place for a first year student, access to lots of rowdy students and partying, also in close proximity to the Don river and the beach if you like to go running in the morning. Also Northcourt or Southhouse have the best rooms, a little more expensive but worth it compared to the shite catered flats.

I started the Bsc Health and Nutrition course, which is still undercontruction and poorly taught ( I felt)
Most classes are held in william guild lecture hall, expect to have as many as 500 people in classes and about 40 for tutorials.

There was no continuous assessment on my course, just a final exam at the end of the year. You have to study independently, if you want to keep learning.

Watch out for the homeless people who corner you and beg money off you for alcohol.
The sunrise along the beach is fascinating.
Also, don't walk down the beach boulevard alone after 10.
