There are different kinds of housing, but they are all pretty expensive. Prepare yourselve to spend at least 220 pounds for housing.
However you will find out it is worth it if what you are looking for is to socialize with people!

If you come to University of Aberdeen get ready for the scotish accent, pretty hard to understand.
Scotland is also more cold than other places but not that much. Don't try to bring any esquimot cloth, basic cloth will do!

I think academic life in Aberdeen is pretty good. You also have plenty of clubs to join.(e.g. I joined the wine and whisky tasting society, and really learned a lot about drinking )
