I stayed at University City Apartments (UCA) which was very expensive. It is really easy to find nice and cheap accommodation in Melbourne so don't worry about finding a place to live beforehand.

If you are fairly young and want to be on the safe side with regards to meeting people, go for oncampus housing. But beware the avarage age is about 19-20! But meeting people was not really a big deal.

The accomodation that the university could arrange for you was inaffordable, and I also found it more suitable for younger students. People who have just left highschool and don't know how to be totally independant yet.

This university is a corporation that is out to make money from International Students. An International Student's tuition is 7 times that of a local students and there are no reasonably priced on campus accommodations. Poor, very poor.
