West street! You can't go anywhere else all the best party is there! Revolution, Starbucks in Division street, Common room, Theatre in city center, Meadaowhall (massive commercial center where you can find EVERYTHING!

Housing in the university is really practical, but for the first year in the uni. I would prefer be independant and live wit postgraduate people.

Any surprise, bank are used to deal with student and they have a good knowledge of the market and their target, they are really efficient on informing us and introducing us the product (credit card, phone bill, internet bill...)

I am doing my Master at the moment, and I can tell that I will never forget this academic exchange year! If you have this opportunity to go, don't think about anything else and book your tickets! I found my accomodation in 1 days, and I found a job and I didn't know how to speak the language when I arrived in the airport!:-) I met unforgettable people and my future husband!!! However, you have to make sure that you take courses with groupwork! it's really important!

The fac that Sheffield was a cosmopolitan university help students to mix each other. PLus, they have a strong social student association for the foreigners!
