Valeo's VIE Program?

The Valeo VIE Program is available to citizens of the European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland) aged between 18 and 28. This program is to work for one of our subsidiaries around the world!

Valeo Light is the world leader in automotive lighting. From the latest interior and exterior lighting innovations to cutting-edge wiping technologies, the Light division offers innovative visibility systems with a distinctive style, improving safety and driving comfort.

The site of San Luis Potosi based in Mexico belongs to Light Division. We are looking for a VIE Logistics Coordinator for 12 months within the team.

Your challenges?
* You analyze and optimize physical flows across the plant and warehouses, including material feeding to production lines and transfers between external warehouses and the production site.
* You improve warehouse organization, storage processes, and logistics layouts to enhance operational efficiency and space utilization.
* You deploy supply chain standards, methods, tools, and best practices across the site and with suppliers.
* You implement and improve shop floor scheduling processes to support efficient production planning and execution.
* You optimize receiving, line feeding, packaging, labeling, storage, and shipping processes.
* You drive automation and digitalization initiatives to reduce manual calculations, spreadsheets, and non-value-added activities.
* You define and standardize packaging and labeling specifications for components and finished goods.
* You contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on flow efficiency, cost reduction, and labor productivity.

Let's talk about you…
* You hold a degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
* Ideally, you already have experience in supply chain, logistics, production planning, or continuous improvement.
* You are fluent in English; French or another language would be a plus.
* You have strong communication skills and can work effectively with different teams and stakeholders.
* You have an international mindset and are open to new cultures, ways of working, and perspectives.
* You are proactive, organized, and solution-oriented in managing operational challenges.
* You are humble, attentive, and maintain a positive attitude in your daily work.
* Experience in the automotive industry or in a manufacturing environment would be a strong asset.
