The goal of the Design Facilitation Lead is to illustrate the art of the possible by creating, delivering, and enhancing immersive experiences and design-lead exploration of the Apple platform. You will be instrumental in designing and executing hands-on demo experiences and design workshops that showcase the magic of Apple products and guide customers and partners to groundbreaking solutions. This will require working collaboratively with our Sales organization, Product Marketing, Channel Interactive, Business Markets, and other key stakeholders to innovate and create unparalleled customer engagements. Your efforts will focus on identifying key problems and gaps, allowing customers to touch and feel the product, and ultimately drive critical business outcomes aligned to business sales objectives across all routes to market.
The Design Facilitation Lead will be responsible for championing Apple technology and showcasing the unparalleled power of Apple's platforms, driving demand through deep design expertise and a consultative mindset, equally comfortable diagnosing complex challenges, facilitating alignment across large organizations, and guiding teams toward clear, well-reasoned decisions. The key tasks include: Effectively manage and collaborate closely with Sales, Product Marketing, Business Markets, and other cross-functional stakeholders to understand customer needs and translate them into impactful, customized experiences that address specific horizontal and vertical workflows. Identify, develop, and deliver relevant hands-on experiences that resonate with diverse audiences and highlight the transformative capabilities of our products for business customers. Design and facilitate engaging design sessions that inspire new thinking and help organizations explore opportunities at the intersection of design and Apple's emerging technology platform. Leverage deep technical acumen and a profound passion for Apple's ecosystem to design and deliver experiences that resonate with diverse audiences and highlight the transformative capabilities of our products. Innovate new ways to bring Apple technology to life, ensuring customers can touch, feel, and directly experience the benefits of our products and services. Act as a evangelist for design methodologies among peers and stakeholders at Apple and with Apple's customers and partners. Develop and maintain a deep expertise in Apple's platform technologies, roadmaps, and competitive landscape. Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, ensuring high-quality deliverables within established timelines.
Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or equivalent and proven relevant experience in design consulting, in-house design leadership, or a combination of both. Proven ability to compellingly present and facilitate strategic discussions and hands-on demonstrations with C-suite leaders and senior executives. Demonstrated experience facilitating workshops, design sprints, or innovation sessions with cross-functional and executive-level stakeholders. Strong design craft skills and familiarity with design tools such as The Adobe Creative Suite and Figma. Fluent in structured design methods such as journey mapping, service blueprinting, design thinking frameworks, prototyping and the judgment to know when and how to apply them. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present design thinking and rationale to non-design audiences. Proven ability to present and facilitate compelling strategic discussions and hands-on demonstrations with C-suite leaders and senior executives. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple partners and coordinate complex cross-functional teams to achieve common goals and align on business sales objectives. Keen attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively. Extensive, hands-on experience using, demonstrating, and evangelizing emerging technologies in a professional or business context, showcasing its power and potential. Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly and compellingly. A curious mindset with a passion for innovation and continuous learning.
Familiarity with Apple platforms and a genuine passion for the role design plays in Apple's products and customer experiences. Experience working in an Executive Briefing Center, Customer Experience Center, Consulting or similar high-profile customer engagement environment. Background in product marketing or management, technology consulting, technical evangelism, or solutions architecture for enterprise technology. Familiarity with Apple's corporate culture, products, services, and ecosystem beyond personal use. Experience in developing interactive content or immersive experiences that are consistent and scalable across different customer segments Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to navigate ambiguity, competing priorities, and organizational dynamics with confidence and empathy. Passionate and self-motivated, with outstanding attention to detail, a sense of urgency, and consistent follow-through. Solid presenter, storyteller - crafting and delivering narratives that build alignment, inspire action, and make the value of design tangible to a broad audience
