At SP Energy Networks we provide power on behalf of supply companies through a network of cables and power lines that we own and maintain. Through our Transmission and Distribution network we provide power to customers in Central and Southern Scotland (SPD) as well as Merseyside, Cheshire, North Wales and North Shropshire (SPM).
What you'll be doing
Manage and deliver technically specialised projects (Major Generation Projects) for the SPD Distribution Network to specification, programme and within authorised financial values.
Ensure that projects delivered to specification, programme, within contract price and in accordance with Energy Networks financial authorisation procedures
Ensure compliance with CDM Regulations and all other relevant Health, Safety & Environmental Regulations
Compliance with Energy Networks Quality Management System processes
Prepare necessary ITT documentation contract papers and project scope of works
Assess contractor's submissions both technically and commercially
Liaison with other Energy Networks departments, suppliers and contractors to ensure delivery of project portfolio
Contractor compliance with Energy Networks construction and plant specifications standards
Availability of project programme indicating key environmental, planning, procurement, construction, commissioning and completion milestones
Maintenance of project risk registers
Staff development and performance management of allocated staff
