Duties and responsibilities related to the Door Host/ess role
· Warmly welcome guests upon arrival and departure.
· Open doors for guests as they enter and exit the building, providing a courteous and seamless experience, book taxis
· Maintain clear communication with front desk colleagues and other team members to ensure a smooth guest experience.
· Assist in managing vehicular and pedestrian traffic at the entrance to ensure safety and order.
· Regularly inspect the entrance area to ensure it is clean, presentable, and free of hazards.
· Acting as a concierge to assist guests with requests and recommendations
· Familiarise yourself with the hotel's history and be prepared to share it with guests upon request or during lobby tours, offering an engaging and informative experience.
About you
You are an attentive, welcoming professional who takes pride in creating a warm environment. With strong communications skills and keen attention to detail, you ensure every guest feels valued.
Previous experience in a similar role within hospitality or guest services is preferred.
