An opportunity has arisen for a VAT Associate to join our team of specialists and assist our specialised VAT team with the day-to-day VAT affairs for a varied portfolio of clients.

Your Mission
As a VAT Associate, you would be working within a team to:
* support our clients to meet their compliance obligations
* completing and submitting periodic VAT returns / declarations, and calculating VAT payments
* provide VAT advice to a variety of clients, ranging from top-tier multinationals to medium and smaller sized enterprises operating in various industries including gaming, financial services, retail and manufacturing industries
* prepare thought leadership articles and assist with giving in-house and external VAT training sessions

About You
The successful candidate would:
* be ACCA qualified or recently be graduated in Accounting. Applicants interested in VAT but reading or holding other degrees or diploma qualifications will also be considered
* have some knowledge on the Maltese or EU VAT legislative framework
* have an interest in acquiring exposure to various disciplines and industries
* have strong fluency in English and hold strong interpersonal skills
* be able to prioritise work and manage competing priorities.
