Key Responsibilities:
* Deploy global PP template to new manufacturing sites ensuring alignment with corporate production planning standards
* Configure production planning and execution processes including demand management, MRP, capacity planning, and shop floor control
* Analyze local manufacturing requirements and map them to global template capabilities, identifying necessary localizations
* Configure production versions, routing, work centers, BOMs, and production scheduling parameters specific to new sites
* Set up plant-specific manufacturing parameters including lot sizing procedures, MRP controllers, and planning strategies
* Design and configure integration between PP and MM, QM, PM, and FICO modules for seamless manufacturing operations
* Support production data migration including BOMs, routings, work centers, and production orders
* Configure manufacturing execution processes including goods movements, confirmations, and backflushing
* Lead workshops with plant operations, planning, and production teams to validate processes and gain buy-in
* Create functional specifications for manufacturing reports, shop floor dashboards, and custom requirements
* Coordinate with technical team on developments, enhancements, and interface requirements
* Execute comprehensive testing cycles and support users during UAT
* Deliver training to production planners, supervisors, and shop floor users
* Provide post go-live support and optimize processes based on production feedback

Required Skills:
* Extensive configuration experience across PP core modules: production planning, MRP, discrete and process manufacturing, repetitive manufacturing
* Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, shop floor processes, and production planning concepts
* Experience deploying standardized templates while accommodating site-specific manufacturing requirements
* Knowledge of master data structures (material masters, BOMs, routings, work centers)
* Understanding of PP-MM integration, especially procurement and inventory management touchpoints
* Ability to configure capacity planning and leveling
* Experience with variant configuration (desirable for complex manufacturing environments)
* Strong analytical skills for production process optimization
Preferred Qualifications:
* S/4HANA PP experience with understanding of embedded PP/DS capabilities
* Industry-specific manufacturing experience (pharma)
* SAP PP certification
