Purpose of the Role

The Purchasing Specialist - Digital Platforms plays a key role in shaping and executing commercial strategies for operational Marketing IT spend within Shell Mobility.

Working in close partnership with Category Leaders, Mobility IT, business owners, and Supply Chain colleagues across Market Units, the role is responsible for translating category strategies into high-quality commercial outcomes. This includes sourcing and contracting activities, supplier and contract performance management, and the effective execution of end-to-end commercial processes.

The role offers significant exposure to digital platforms, Marketing Technology markets, and senior stakeholders, while progressively building ownership, commercial judgement, and category expertise within the Mobility Marketing IT domain.

What you will do:
* Execute assigned sourcing activities and commercial workplans for Marketing IT spend, ensuring reliable supply, competitive pricing, and compliance with global procurement guidelines.
* Maintain contract data in relevant systems and support monitoring of supplier performance, addressing compliance issues and escalating risks where needed.
* Execute end-to-end Requisition-to-Pay (RtP) activities, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant processing of purchase and payment transactions.
* Support stakeholders by resolving invoice and payment issues in collaboration with Accounts Payable, acting as a reliable point of contact for RtP queries.
* Build and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders and suppliers, supporting alignment of sourcing activities with business needs.
* Contribute to cost tracking and savings delivery, while helping ensure continuity of supply and supporting urgent or ad-hoc business requirements.
* Identify opportunities to simplify processes, reduce cycle times, and improve the overall efficiency of the procurement and contracting lifecycle.

Requirements:
* Experience in commercial contracting, sourcing, or procurement is preferred.
* Strong written and spoken English.
* Strong commercial acumen with the ability to make sound decisions and execute with stakeholder support.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver outcomes independently.
* Analytical mindset with attention to detail and a focus on value creation.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence across cultures and functions.
* Working knowledge of commercial contract management processes.
