Job Description :.
We're looking for a Junior Product Engineer to support the development of AI-powered features for HAVAS data products. You'll work alongside senior engineers and product teams to build, test, and deploy backend services and API integrations. This is a hands-on role where you'll learn to build scalable applications, integrate AI and advertising APIs, and contribute to production features for Converged Activate and Match.AI.

Main Responsibilities

Product Engineering Support
* Support the development of AI-driven features by implementing technical requirements under guidance
* Build and maintain Python-based applications and APIs using FastAPI or Flask
* Collaborate with senior engineers and product teams to understand and implement user-facing features
AI & API Integration
* Assist with integrating LLM APIs (Gemini, GPT) for use cases like audience insights and content generation
* Help connect external advertising APIs (Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, Amazon Ads)
* Learn and apply prompt engineering techniques to improve AI outputs
Cloud Deployment & DevOps
* Deploy services to cloud environments (Google Cloud Run) with support from senior team members
* Participate in CI/CD processes and learn deployment best practices
* Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues
Learning & Collaboration
* Work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and data scientists
* Participate in code reviews and learn from senior engineers
* Document your work and communicate progress effectively

Education
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)

Previous Experience
* 0-1 years of professional experience or strong internship/project portfolio

Language Skills
* Good working knowledge in English

Key Competencies
* Basic Python programming skills (familiarity with frameworks like FastAPI or Flask is a plus)
* Understanding of APIs and how to work with them
* Foundational knowledge of software development principles and data structures
* Eagerness to learn about LLM technologies and AI applications
* Basic familiarity with Git and version control
* Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
* Strong communication skills and ability to ask questions
* Comfortable working in a collaborative, multicultural team environment

Nice to have:
* Exposure to cloud platforms (Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure)
* Any experience with AI/ML projects (coursework, personal projects, or internships)
* Basic understanding of Docker or containerization concepts
* Interest in advertising technology or digital marketing
* Participation in coding bootcamps, hackathons, or open-source projects
* Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman, curl)
