Position General Description
Looking for a Project Engineer to be based at Schneider Electric offices in Seville. The candidate will join to the Digital Grid (DG) Business Unit (BU), as part of Regional Solution Center of Spain, located at Schneider Electric's offices in Seville.
This Business Unit is responsible for Customer Projects Delivery of Operations Management (ADMS), Edge Solutions (Smart Metering) and Asset Management (GIS, GAA) Solutions developed by Schneider Electric as part of the EcoStruxure Grid for Utilities suite.
This job role is primarily based around the SE 'Advanced Distribution Management System' suite of software. The ADMS Data Architect will report to ADMS Solution Manager and will be part of the customer Project Delivery team, working in coordination with the Schneider Electric Project Manager.
Data Architect project engineer represents one of the key roles in ADMS Solution project delivery which ensures that all the data required for ADMS are successfully identified in source systems, mapped to the ADMS model, integrated/migrated to ADMS in most cost-effective way, stored effectively/securely and validated for agreed functionalities which fit customer business goals set at the beginning of ADMS project.

Position Responsibilities
* As part of the project delivery team to implement Schneider Electric's ADMS (Advanced Distribution Management) software and will deliver at a technical level some subtasks related with the Data Entry and SCADA areas of knowledge.
* Ensure that the ADMS SCADA solution fits customer business goals set throughout the lifecycle of an ADMS project: the budget, agreed and reasonable scope, time, required quality standards (within agreed specifications) and concept of the ADMS product.
* Produce Design and other technical documentation of proposed customer solutions based on defined project requirements. Collaborate on project requirements gathering workshops and develop resulting documentation.
* Identify data of interest through all available data sources.
* Map all needed data from source system to ADMS model and lead data validation and migration processes, including model conversions during upgrade projects.
* Understand and lead all tasks related to display building and network model build (including SCADA model, electrical network model and land base model).
* Design and support process for SCADA point to point testing, troubleshooting issues related to SCADA protocols
* Work with project team members and customer on SCADA commissioning and cutover activities
* Work with Software Development Department to prioritize features requests from the customer to help ensure on time delivery and with accurate scope
* Produce testing related Documentation within the Data Entry and SCADA areas of knowledge for ADMS Solution projects delivery.
* Perform Project Solution acceptance testing, and report defects found during internal and external testing in which (s)he is involved.
* Perform Operation Support and Troubleshooting related to the Network Model build.
* Troubleshoot issues related to the model build.
* Work closely with project teams, support team and customers as required, ensuring achieving projects' goals and customer satisfaction.
Position Requirements
Qualifications: University education in Power Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Minimum Experience: 1-3 years
Desirable domain areas: Technical experience in implementation of Electrical Utilities engineering software solutions such as SCADA Systems, Outage Management Systems (OMS), Distribution Management Systems (DMS), Energy Management Systems (EMS).
Skills and Experience
* Experience on configuration and delivery of SCADA Systems, SCADA protocols (IEC101/104, DNP3, ICCP). Knowledge of other SCADA protocols like MODBUS and IEC61850 would be a plus.
* Experience on electrical network modeling in software applications to run load flow, state estimation and other ADMS advance functionalities.
* Experience working with Schenider Electric´s Ecostruxture ADMS Solution would be a plus.
* Prior experience with one of the following areas: SCADA Display building and Symbology, Data migration processes, Data integration processes, Data mapping, Data validation, Data commissioning on the field in Power System or Electrical Distribution System application.
* Any experience in software testing is desirable
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to analyze, explain technical issues to lay audiences
* Team player with experience in cross-team collaboration to ensure successful delivery of solutions
* Problem-solving skills
* Passion for learning and continuous improvement
* Fluent in written and spoken English. Knowledge of French language is a plus.
