Job Description:

We develop and evaluate innovative product concepts of different technologies to improve the overall energy efficiency of passenger cars. To showcase the vehicle's behavior under real operating conditions, we work on a framework that visualizes the values either received directly from the sensors or calculated.

Your tasks:
► As software engineer, you are responsible for the enhancement and maintenance of the applied infrastructure and pipeline (e.g. pre-processing, maintenance of the cloud, evaluation & visualization of different data)
► Definition and implementation of the database concept to ensure data availability and consistency
► Further development of the framework (e.g. implementation of new features, enhancement of basic capabilities and usability) including testing, as well as maintenance of the existing code basis
► Close cooperation with the development departments in Germany.

Qualifications:

► BSc or MSc degree in informatics, software engineering or comparable
► Good English knowledge both verbal and written
► German language knowledge is an advantage
► Practical experience in the field of software engineering, incl. requirement engineering, structured coding, testing, version control)
► Good knowledge in Python & JavaScript programming language and its libraries for data processing and visualization (e.g. NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib)
► Initial knowledge of cloud solutions
► Initial knowledge of database concepts
► Highly motivated by the innovation and scientific work in an inter-disciplinary environment
► Ability to work independently, systematically, and responsibly
► Ability to cooperate with an international team
► Willingness to travel to Germany for occasional business trips
