About Pulsate

Pulsate is the mobile-first engagement platform for credit unions and community banks. We help financial institutions turn their mobile and digital banking channels into a genuine relationship, reaching members and customers in the moments that matter with personalised, timely messaging that grows deposits, loans, and everyday engagement.
We work with over 270 financial institutions, reaching more than 20 million consumers, and we are backed by TruStage Ventures and Curql. We are a small, ambitious team building the category for member engagement in community finance, and we are just getting started.

The role

We are hiring our Product Marketing Lead: the person who owns how the market understands Pulsate and how our products come to market. You will define our positioning, lead the go-to-market for new products and features, and build the engine that turns our loyal customer base and strong partner network into pipeline and growth. This is a senior, high-ownership role reporting to the CEO, with the opportunity to shape and grow the marketing function.

What you will do

* Own our positioning and messaging, and make it consistent and compelling across our website, sales materials, and campaigns.
* Lead go-to-market for new products and features, starting with our behavior-driven journeys product, from launch strategy through enablement and demand.
* Build a proof engine: turn customer outcomes into quantified, credible stories and a strong reference program.
* Partner with the major digital banking platforms on joint marketing that builds pipeline through our ecosystem.
* Run the demand engine and improve how efficiently we convert interest into qualified opportunities, with clear measurement and reporting.
* Craft messaging that resonates with the people who buy in this market: leaders across marketing, digital banking, lending, and the C-suite at credit unions and community banks.
* Lead and grow a small team and a set of specialist partners, using modern tools, including AI, to do more with focus.

What you will achieve in your first year

* A clear, differentiated market position that the whole company rallies behind.
* A confident product launch that lands with customers and drives adoption.
* A steady stream of quantified customer success stories that power sales and retention.
* A measurable, partner-led pipeline and a marketing function that runs on data.

What you will bring

* Substantial experience in B2B SaaS product marketing, including owning positioning and leading a product launch end to end.
* A track record you can point to: a launch or repositioning you led, and the results it delivered.
* Comfort as a hands-on leader in a lean team, equally happy setting strategy and doing the work.
* Fluency with modern marketing and AI tools, and good judgement about where they help.
* Ideally, experience in fintech or banking technology, so you understand how financial
institutions buy. If you have not marketed to credit unions or banks before, you are
genuinely curious to learn.
* Startup or scale-up experience: you are comfortable with ambiguity and limited resources,
and you like building things from the ground up
* You want to own and build a function, not step into a purely individual-contributor role.
