Design Intern - Furniture

Livspace is seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and passionate Furniture Design Intern to join our team in Bangalore. This is an exciting opportunity to work on trend-driven and commercially viable furniture collections across retail and e-commerce channels while gaining hands-on experience in product design and development.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in designing furniture concepts across living, dining, bedroom, and storage categories
* Conduct research on furniture trends, materials, finishes, and consumer preferences
* Create mood boards, sketches, presentations, and technical drawings
* Support 3D modeling and rendering using industry-standard design tools
* Collaborate with sourcing, merchandising, and visual merchandising teams
* Assist in product development, sample evaluations, and design documentation
* Support seasonal collection planning and product innovation initiatives
Requirements
* Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Furniture Design, Product Design, Industrial Design, Interior Design, or a related field
* Strong passion for furniture, home décor, and retail design
* Proficiency in tools such as SketchUp, Rhino, AutoCAD, Blender, Adobe Photoshop, or Illustrator
* Strong visualization, presentation, and creative problem-solving skills
* Portfolio showcasing furniture or product design projects preferred
