Location: Ottawa, ON Canada
Duration: Co-op/Intern 16 Months

What you will do:
* RAN Operations: Assist in the deployment, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting of RAN nodes and functions
* Automation Development: Contribute to the development and refinement of automation scripts to streamline operations
* AI Integration: Participate in AI-driven use-cases, including the automation of processes using AI agents and LLMs
* Collaborative Projects: Work alongside team members on projects involving complex 5G feature testing and validation
* Documentation and Reporting: Help in maintaining clear documentation and reporting of activities and results.

The skills you bring:
* 2.7+ GPA on a 4.0 scale or equivalent
* Actively enrolled in an accredited undergraduate, Master's, or PhD on a full-time basis at a 4-year college or university at the time of the internship
* Be available to work 40 hours per week during the summer or Co-Op term
* Proficiency in Python, with familarity in libraries such as NumPy, pandas, and SciPy
* Familiarity with frameworks including scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Keras
* Knowledge with tools like Matplotlib, Seaborn, and Plotly
* Knowledge and experience in using LLM APIs, understanding of LLM-agents and AI agentic frameworks and RAG
* Knowledge with Kubernetes, including Container Network Interface (CNI)
* Linux knowledge and bash scripting skills
* Keen interest in the RAN domain.

Additional skills:
* Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, ML workflows, and Argo Workflows
* Understanding of architectures such as CNNs, RNNs, and Transformers
* Prior knowledge or experience in the RAN domain

The salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, and the candidate's combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.

The salary range for this position is
* Bachelors $25.50 - $34.50 CAD
* Masters $37.00 CAD
