Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory)

In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain vocational experience through a temporary work placement. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting ABB's operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities.

The work model for the role is: On Site.

This role is contributing to the Electrification Division in México.

You will be mainly accountable for:
* Provide technical support to associates and senior engineers by assisting with data collection, standard calculations, and basic design tasks.
* Collaborate closely with engineering teams to support project execution, including documentation and cross-functional communication.
* Participate in training programs and workshops to develop knowledge of engineering tools, processes, and industry best practices.
* Contribute to process improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities and proposing enhancements to tools and workflows.
* Support project managers in tracking activities to help ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
* Assist in coordinating testing and manufacturing activities, ensuring engineering designs are properly implemented.

Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)
* Basic knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
* Familiarity with engineering design software and tools (AutoCAD, EPLAN, Creo, etc.).
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, for basic calculations and data analysis.
* Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI for reporting support.
* Strong problem-solving abilities.
* Effective communication and teamwork skills.
* Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
* Self-directed and highly motivated.
* Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
* At least one year remaining before graduation.
* Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
