Human Resources internship: supporting people development & organizational impact

Join ASML's Customer Support (CS) HR team and help shape a future-proof organization in one of the world's most innovative high-tech companies. Our HR team drives people and business impact by fostering an inclusive culture where leaders coach, employees develop, teams collaborate, and well-being is a priority.

Customer Support is responsible for maintaining and improving ASML systems at customer locations worldwide. In Veldhoven alone, more than 1,400 CS employees work at our headquarters. As an HR intern, you will gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment, supporting initiatives that strengthen leadership, enhance employee engagement, and promote organizational effectiveness.

Your Assignment

You will contribute to key HR focus areas that support ASML's growth and employee experience. Key deliverables include:
* Support the yearly Develop & Perform cycle, empowering employees to drive their own career development.
* Promote engagement by supporting the annual survey and follow-up actions.
* Provide operational HR support to HR Business Partners, line management, and employees.
* Report on HR workforce analytics (e.g., illness trends, hiring trends).
* Prepare the monthly HR newsletter for the business.
* Assist HRBPs with team development initiatives.
* Join business meetings on HR-related topics.

This is an internship (non-thesis) for a minimum duration of 5 months. It requires an investment of 32-40 hours per week, out of which 2-3 days per week are onsite in Veldhoven. It is set to start in February 2026.

Your Profile

To be a perfect match for this internship you:
* are currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Human Resources, Organizational Studies, or a related field
* have a strong interest in organizational change, well-being, diversity & inclusion, and people development
* are proactive, self-driven, and able to work independently
* have excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
* enjoy working in a team and have an open, collaborative mindset

Other requirements you need to meet:
* You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship;
* Attach your cover letter with a clear motivation why you are interested in this internship assignment in particular;
* You need to be located in the Netherlands to be perform your internship. In case you are currently living/studying outside of the Netherlands, your CV/motivation letter includes the willingness to relocate.
* If you are a non-EU citizen, studying in the Netherlands, your university is willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement).
