YOUR ROLE
In your daily job you will:
* contribute to innovation projects in metals and plating technologies in Aptiv Connection Systems
* assist the Product Engineering teams to define the most suitable material given the application details
* work closely with suppliers to validate new materials and control material specifications
* support material cost savings initiatives
* analyze alloy consumption and propose initiatives to improve operating efficiency

YOUR BACKGROUND
Key skills and competencies for succeeding in this role are:
* pursuing a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Materials Science, Metallurgy
* understanding of metal properties and related material characteristics
* strong communication skills in English (verbal and written), with the ability to explain complex ideas clearly
* results-driven and adaptable, with the ability to prioritize, make timely decisions, and solve problems independently
* ability to work effectively across all organizational levels and within a distributed team
* availability minimum 20 hours per week
