At our Siemens Foundational Technologies Development Center we are focused on a product development including software development, hardware development, mechanical design, and testing for the next generation concept of Industry 4.0.
We would like to invite you to cooperate on the development of industrial automation products. We focus on complete product development and integration across the entire automation system. Currently we are searching for a DevOps Engineer with embedded software development background who can effectively connect traditional embedded systems development with modern DevOps methodologies and CI/CD practices.

You will focus on:

* Perform installation of hypervisors and operating systems, including initial security hardening.
* Develop automation scripts for configuration and compliance (PowerShell, Bash).
* Implement and maintain security hardening measures for Windows and Linux systems.
* Deploy and maintain infrastructure backup and monitoring system

You should have:

* Basic knowledge of Windows and Linux administration.
* Experience with scripting (PowerShell, Bash, or Python).
* Understanding of Git.
* Willingness to learn about cybersecurity, system hardening, and DevOps practices.
* Interest in modern technologies such as AI and AI-assisted automation.
* Availability for longterm commitment - at least 1 year
