Context The Asset Operations team is responsible for the operational management of energy assets, including onboarding new assets, managing processes, interacting with internal and external stakeholders, and supporting operational activities such as ancillary services bidding. To strengthen the team, we are looking for a junior profile who will support process structuring, tool development, and operational tasks while progressively gaining autonomy. Your Mission As a Junior Asset Operations Support, you will: Provide day-to-day support to team members across multiple projects. Contribute to the design and implementation of the standard asset onboarding process. Map, document, and improve processes using internal tools (e.g., Signavio). Collaborate with internal teams to ensure clear interfaces between tools, processes, and stakeholders. Develop small automation tools in Python to support operational efficiency. Learn and execute selected operational activities, depending on your length of stay (e.g., bidding ancillary services). You will report directly to the Head of Asset Operations

Candidate Requirements:

What we are looking for A motivated junior team member able to quickly understand technical and operational topics, contribute to process improvements, and support the team's operational responsibilities. Someone solution-oriented, collaborative, and eager to learn a complex and evolving environment. Hard Skills Understanding (or theoretical knowledge) of portfolio management for generation assets and/or BESS. Knowledge of energy assets and related technologies. Basic knowledge of power markets and ancillary services. Knowledge of real-time signals is a plus. Ability to code in Python to support automation and tool creation. Ability to map and describe processes (e.g., Signavio). Capacity to understand interfaces between tools, systems, and teams. Soft Skills Ability to independently learn and understand complex topics. Solution-driven and open-minded mindset. Strong communication skills and ability to work with various internal and external stakeholders. Team spirit and willingness to integrate into a dynamic operational environment. Education & Experience Master's degree in Engineering, Economics, or a techno-economic field. First experience or academic exposure to energy markets or asset management is an advantage. Languages Fluent English (written & oral). Basic German required. Additional Information Location: Berlin, Germany (possibility of more remote work over time). Travel: Occasional trips to Cologne, Paris, Brussels. Internal Interfaces: ABST, IS, Back-office, Origination. External Interfaces: Clients, TSOs, EMSys. Authority: No management responsibilities
