Context & Environment

You will join, as an engineer, a team in charge of the management of knowledge in Geoscience & Reservoir for the Company. This will allow you to enrich your knowledge directly related to Geoscience & Reservoir (G&R) disciplines,exploration and production of hydrocarbons as well as CO2 storage.
Within the Excellence department of G&R entity, part of OneTech branch), and in close collaboration with the Company's technologists, your main mission will be to contribute to a Knowledge Management platform (named HERITAGE) that enables the capitalization and transfer of technical knowledge in Geoscience & Reservoir.

Activities

As a Geoscience and Reservoir Knowledge Management Engineer Beginner - M/F, your responsibilities will include:
Within the editorial team, you will contribute to enriching the HERITAGE platform by:
* Preparing summaries of oil fields, particularly within the subsurface scope (static and dynamic knowledge).
* Supporting technical contributors in entering their own reports by identifying, collecting, and formalizing their critical knowledge.
You will work in close collaboration with the Integrated Reservoir Studies teams (hydrocarbon production and CO₂ sequestration) and Specialties teams (geology, geophysics, reservoir) at headquarters, and maintain regular contact with operational teams in affiliates.
You will also be responsible for making the consultation and access to the HERITAGE platform more dynamic and for supporting the cultural shift towards knowledge sharing.
For example, you may lead collaborative workshops, training sessions, or coaching activities, either in person or via Teams.
You will take part in monitoring the platform by implementing KPIs.
You will contribute through your feedback and suggestions to improving the digital platform, as well as exploring opportunities to expand its scope to the Company's new businesses (CCS, LNG, new energies).

Candidate Profile

Have you recently graduated with a Master's degree (Bac +5) in Geosciences, Geology, or Reservoir Engineering ? Start your career with a stimulating experience at the heart of international teams committed to the energy transition!
We are looking for a Geoscience and Reservoir Knowledge Management Engineer Beginner - M/F for a 12-month assignment starting in February 2026.

Are you comfortable with geology and geophysics and possess skills in reservoir engineering? Your technical expertise will be leveraged for in-depth analyses and strategic projects.
Do you have a strong interest in digital technologies and innovative applications, such as generative AI to optimize writing? You will also use the Microsoft Office Suite for your daily tasks.
Are interpersonal exchanges second nature to you? Your technical curiosity, analytical mindset, and ability to collaborate will be key assets.
Excellent technical writing skills and professional proficiency in English are essential for this position.

We offer a full-time, qualifying Professionalization Contract for 12 months (100% in-company), including a training component (technical, language, tools…). These trainings are delivered internally by organizations selected by TotalEnergies. This contract will allow you to gain one year of professional experience while being trained in the specificities of your role in connection with the Company's activities.
