DESCRIPTION:
Join Thermo Fisher Scientific as an Engineering Technician and be part of our mission to enable customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. You'll work with analytical instruments and high-end measurement systems, including mass spectrometers and chromatography equipment used in research and science worldwide. In this role, you'll provide technical support for production equipment, perform maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements to ensure optimal system performance. You'll work with a collaborative team while working on innovative technologies that advance scientific discovery.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Preferred Fields of Study: Mechanical engineering
* Technical/Vocational certification in electronics, engineering, or related field
* Analytical and problem-solving capabilities
* Documentation and technical writing skills
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
* Communication and interpersonal skills for team collaboration
* Ability to travel occasionally for training or technical support
* Written English work environment
