As a graduate of the dual MSc program in Petroleum Engineering (English) or Oil and Gas Engineering, you will spend a significant portion of your training at MOL sites, where our highly skilled colleagues will mentor you to acquire both theoretical and practical knowledge essential for the industry. The refining sector is undergoing transformation, with innovative developments emerging in line with the circular economy and renewable energy sources (e.g., green hydrogen), offering unique learning opportunities.

Additionally, we offer professional internships and opportunities to complete your thesis and diploma work, allowing you to gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies and innovative developments.

Starting in 2024, we welcome applicants to the dual MSc engineering program in two specializations-

Do you know what a petroleum engineer does on a daily basis? Do you know what a "decade" means in this context? Have you ever visited a drilling rig or seen real exploration and production work? If not, but you'd like to gain professional experience, we can support you in that.

The practical part of the dual training takes place at our headquarters in Budapest and/or at our regional sites (e.g., Algyő), so you can observe the exploration and production processes up close.

Our goal with this training format is to help you learn through real-life examples and acquire up-to-date professional competencies through field and office work. As your knowledge and experience grow, so will your compensation package- the legally mandated allowance will be increased every semester, and we also provide an annual cafeteria benefit.

Through the dual training program, you'll have the opportunity to participate in solving real-world tasks and work on project-based assignments that develop your ability to work independently. You'll also become familiar with our corporate work culture and regularly present your acquired knowledge to the management of MOL Hungary Exploration & Production.

Apply for the state-administered master's program by November 15, 2025. Then apply to MOL via our Taleo career site by clicking on the job posting and then the "Apply" button. After filling in your personal details, please write and complete the motivation letter section, addressing the following questions-

* Thesis topic, academic competitions
