Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated Graduate Workday Developer to join our Digital Solutions team at Mercer. This role will be based in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. As a Graduate Developer, you will support Workday implementation and integration projects by assisting senior team members in designing, developing, and maintaining Workday integrations.

You will help ensure smooth data flow between Workday and other systems, participate in testing and troubleshooting, and contribute to documentation and client support activities.

You will receive structured training and mentoring to build your technical and functional skills. Within the Digital Transformation department, our mission is to drive transformation and innovation that enable clients to mobilise their talents, achieve rapid results, and build agile organisations supported by modern technologies.

Specialised in consulting, integration, and maintenance of Workday Cloud solutions in HR, Payroll, and Finance domains, Marsh McLennan is the leading global partner of Workday.

We Will Count on You To:
* Assist in Workday integration projects for our clients under the guidance of senior developers.
* Support the design and development of integrations using Workday tools such as Workday Studio, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Standard Connectors, and Extend (after training).
* Help configure and maintain Workday integrations to ensure accurate and reliable data exchange.
* Participate in testing, validation, and troubleshooting of integrations to help resolve issues promptly.
* Document integration processes, configurations, and changes clearly for future reference.
* Stay informed about Workday updates and best practices as part of your development path.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including HR, Finance, and IT to support integration delivery.
* Provide basic support to clients on integration-related queries and processes, with oversight from senior colleagues.

What You Need to Have:
* Bachelor's degree (completed or close to completion) in a technical field such as engineering, IT, computer science, physics, mathematics or similar.
* 0-2 years of experience in implementation, integration support, software development, or other technical/analytical roles (internships, student jobs and projects are welcome).
* Basic understanding of, or strong interest in learning, Workday integration tools and concepts (e.g., EIB, Workday Studio).
* Familiarity with data integration or transformation concepts, or web services (REST/SOAP), through studies, projects, or previous roles is a plus.
* Good problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills in Romanian and English.
* Fluent in French or German.
* Customer-oriented mindset, eagerness to learn, and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
