Job Description:

Internship - Public Equity
SPDG S.A. - Brussels (HQ)

Korn Ferry has partnered with our client on their search for the role, Intern.

About SPDG
SPDG S.A. is the investment holding company of the Périer-D'Ieteren family. With assets under management in the multi-billion-euro range, SPDG is actively redeploying capital to build a diversified portfolio of long-term, influential investments aligned with structural macro trends.

As part of this strategic chapter, SPDG is building an in-house public equity platform and is offering an Internship - Public Equity to support the development of this capability alongside the Senior Investment Manager and the broader investment team.

The Role
Working closely with the CIO and Head of Public Equities, you will gain hands-on exposure to the full investment process within a lean, entrepreneurial family investment environment. This internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute meaningfully to a public equity platform at an early stage of its build-up, while learning directly from experienced investors.

Key responsibilities:
* Assist in the screening of active and passive investment funds
* Contribute to the monitoring of portfolio holdings, sector developments and macroeconomic trends
* Support fundamental research on listed companies, including financial modelling, valuation and peer analysis
* Help prepare investment memos, portfolio reviews and presentations for internal stakeholders
* Maintain and develop proprietary tools, databases and dashboards used by the investment team
* Provide ad-hoc analytical support on strategic projects across the platform

Candidate Profile
You are a high-potential student or recent graduate with a strong interest in public markets, financial analysis and long-term investing. You are rigorous, curious and eager to take ownership in a small, high-standards team.

Required qualifications:
* Currently pursuing or recently completed a Master's degree in economics, management, finance, engineering or a similar discipline
* First exposure to public equities, equity research, asset management or institutional investing (through internships, academic projects or personal investing) is a strong plus
* Solid foundation in financial analysis, financial modelling and valuation techniques
* Strong analytical, writing and synthesis abilities
* Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with Bloomberg, FactSet or similar platforms is appreciated
* Fluent in English (French or German are a plus)
* High integrity, ownership mindset and entrepreneurial spirit

Duration: 3 to 12 months, full-time Location: Brussels (HQ)
