Legal Intern

Job Description:

Objectives:
We are looking for a legal intern who will provide a wide range of administrative and secretarial support as well as legal support in order to effectively facilitate daily operations of China Legal team.

Job Descriptions:
* Track new legislations, conduct Legal research on various legal topics and draft legal memos
* Translate and proof-read bilingual legal documents
* Draft, review basic contracts and other legal documents
* Schedule appointments, make arrangement for meetings, workshops, etc
* Assist in preparing charts, meeting minutes and presentation slides and other materials for China Legal team
* Collect, summarize and consolidate relevant business and legal data into reports, and establish and maintain paper filing and e-filing systems for China Legal team
* Provide support with general guidance on a variety of legal projects and activities
* Support other paralegal and administrative tasks assigned by Vice President, Team Leaders or Counsels in Legal Department
Job Requirements:
* Education: Student with legal education background, major in law preferable
* Working Experience: Not required
* Technical & Professional Knowledge: Fluent in both oral and written English; proficient in MS office tools
* Team player and highly responsible work attitude, good communication and interpersonal skills
* Proactive, diligent and understand business and operation needs of the organization.
* Preferred Internship Period - 6 months internship (3-5days attendance per week, full attendance is preferable)
