Job Description:

Are you passionate about people, leadership, wellbeing, communication, engagement and helping create a safe, inclusive and engaging environment across our container fleet and shore organization an internship with us in Marine People & Culture (Autumn Semester 2026) might be of interest to you.

Key Responsibilities

As a key member of our Marine People Strategy team, we have a wide variety of projects and tasks that support our cultural transformation and engagement across sea and shore. Depending on your skillset, field of study and interests we are looking for interns that would be interested in working with all or some of the following tasks:

* Crew Engagement, incl. campaigns, events & communication targeted our seagoing colleagues to drive collaboration, culture and wellbeing

* Data collection - qualitative and quantitively

* Diversity, Equity & Inclusion projects, training and campaigns

* Developing leadership training

We are a team of nine passionate colleagues in Copenhagen that are involved in a vast portfolio of projects and value collaboration. Which is why there will be ample opportunity to explore other tasks if it aligns with your field of study.

Join us in this exciting role where you will make a significant difference to sustaining and embedding our cultural transformation.

Who We're Searching For

We are a team that works to support and sustain an environment of psychological safety at sea and shore, and we are very dedicated to ensuring that environment for our own team and collaborators as well. If you value teamwork, attention to detail, a fast-paced environment, collaboration, curiosity and can think on your feet you will feel very much at home.

On top of engaging with our seafarers from more than 30 countries, we work closely with colleagues and stakeholders in Singapore, Manila, Mumbai and Constanta, so fluency in English is essential.

You're comfortable in the Microsoft ecosystem - PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, and Viva Engage are tools you navigate with ease. Beyond that, what matters more than experience is curiosity. If you have a flair for technology and don't shy away from exploring tools like Power BI, Power automates or Power Apps, we'd love that. Any hands-on experience is a bonus, not a requirement.

If you're pursuing a master's degree or studying the last year of your bachelor's degree in sociology, anthropology, HRM, political science or another relevant field, and possess a keen interest in leadership, engagement, wellbeing, DE&I we want to hear from you.
Bring your ambition and eagerness to learn, and let's make a lasting impact together. Join us for an adventure at our Copenhagen headquarters and leave your mark on ensuring that our seafarers come to work every day feeling a sense of belonging at Maersk.

The internship is a full-time position (37 hours/week) at our Copenhagen headquarters from August to January. We are, however, flexible to accommodate potential scheduling conflicts and your university credit transfer requirements.
