Mats Rombaut was born in Ghent, Belgium in 1987. He is a multi-disciplinary creative currently based in Paris, France. He draws inspiration from different art forms, natural & scientific processes, and especially music. In 2013, his first independent footwear project, ROMBAUT, was founded. Leading by example, his goal is to change the fashion system from within and to make plant-based accessories that have a lower impact on the environment.

Mats is Creative Director and Founder of ROMBAUT, as well as a Creative Consultant and Sustainability Expert.

Description du poste

You will assist the footwear & accessory designers in their daily tasks for a period of 6 months. Working on Rombaut and other brands/projects.

- style/process/product research (10%)
- technical drawings & renderings (15%)
- material sourcing, communication with suppliers and factories(25%)
- content creation for social media & campaigns (30%)
- help organizing events during fashion week (10%)
- assist in logistics & studio management (10%)

Profil recherché

You are motivated, mature, organized and have a positive attitude.
You have a genuine interest in fashion (sneakers-shoes) and previous experience with shoe design.
You have a background in industrial or product design and have good rendering (illustrator/photoshop) skills.
During this period you'll acquire valuable experience and discover all sides of a footwear business.
The internship is based in Paris
