UX/UI Designer - Trainee (m/f/d)

Job Description:

Your Task

The Digital Building Management (Digitale Baubegleitung) application is a central platform for supporting the digitalisation of fibre rollout construction projects in Germany. This role focuses on supporting UI/UX design workflows for this platform.

Responsibilities

* Create wireframes based on specified parameters and references
* Create and modify UI components based on existing design systems
* Conduct basic accessibility (WCAG) checks based on guidelines
* Create user flows and information architecture using FigJam and Figma
* Organize research outputs including interview notes and insights
* Use and test AI tools along UI/UX workflows for tasks such as brainstorming, microcopy, and summary creation

Candidate Requirements:

Your Profile

We are looking for a Junior UI/UX Designer with foundational design skills, knowledge of Figma, and understanding of basic UX concepts to support the digitalization of fibre rollout construction projects in Germany.

Must Have Skills

* UX/UI studies or relevant design training (computer science, business IT)
* 0-1.5 years of UI/UX or related experience
* Basic knowledge of Figma (components, variants, auto layout)
* Knowledge of basic UX concepts (user flow, usability, information architecture)
* Intermediate knowledge of English
* Openness to learning and receiving feedback

Nice to Have Skills

* Interest in Accessibility
* Basic experience in using AI tools for UX
