Your Role And Responsibilities

As a Student/Intern: Generalist, you will be employed by IBM as part of your academic program or during university breaks. This role is designed for students who are looking to gain professional experience while pursuing their education. Your primary responsibilities will include:

* Assist with projects: You will contribute to various projects and tasks, gaining hands-on experience and exposure to different aspects of the business. This is an opportunity to learn and develop your skills in a professional setting.
* Support teams: You will work alongside experienced professionals, supporting them in their daily tasks and learning from their expertise. This will help you build relationships and gain insight into different roles within the organization.

Bachelor's Degree

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

* Bachelor's degree in STEM
* Working knowledge of AI/ML fundamentals; experience creating AI agents
* Fluency in creating quantitative models in Excel
* Experience with SQL and relational databases; ability to with extract large data sets, apply data science tools and use AI to create new insights that are displayed in interactive dashboards
* Familiarity with building dashboards & UI components
* Fluent in English

Preferred Technical And Professional Experience

* Proficiency in Python
* Built personal projects involving automation, dashboards, or data apps
* Prior internship or hackathon experience in AI/ML or data analytics
