Intern - Data Scientist - Fastening & Protection Solutions (m/f/x)

Hilti is expanding its digital software and services. As a Data Science Intern in BU Fastening & Protection Solutions, you'll analyze complex data, build predictive and generative AI models, and enhance engineering workflows. Working with stakeholders, you'll help create scalable, data-driven solutions that improve customer-facing products and deliver real business impact.

This internship position has a flexible start date and runs for 6-12 months.

· Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
· Foundational experience with machine learning, data preprocessing, and model evaluation, with interest in LLMs and Generative AI.
· Hands-on skills in Python and common AI/ML frameworks, plus curiosity to explore tools like LangChain.
· Familiarity with cloud concepts (AWS or similar) and willingness to learn services such as SageMaker or Bedrock.
· Strong analytical thinking, good communication skills in English, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
