Job Description:

AL Maritime is a business unit within GM&T (Global Markets & Technologies). The activity is articulated around four main businesses: Global Helium, Global Rare Gases, Offshore Energies and Maritime Cryogenic Supply. It is a very international environment, managing multiple locations worldwide.

As part of AL Maritime, Cryogenic Tank Services (CTS) is a Malaysian entity which was acquired in 2015. CTS specializes in cryogenic tank and equipment rental for the offshore and maritime industries as well as in cryogenic transport of molecules, and provides a full range of repair and testing services.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Customer Service & Logistics Intern to join our Offshore Energies team for the APAC region.

In this role, you will gain hands-on, real-world experience in international supply chain, logistics operations, and customer relations. You will work closely with our Business Manager and established team to support day-to-day operations, helping us maintain high customer satisfaction while learning the ins and outs of a global maritime and energy business.

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

As an intern, you will assist and learn to manage the following tasks:
* Customer Support: Act as a supporting point of contact for clients and global Business Development Managers/Sales Engineer; assist in preparing quotations and processing sales orders.
* Logistics Coordination: Help coordinate logistics deliveries to meet customer timelines and assist in preparing essential road, freight and shipping documentation.
* Procurement Support: Work alongside the procurement team to learn about the Purchase Order (PO) creation process for regional affiliates.
* Quality & Administration: Review QAQC documentation for accuracy before it is sent to clients, and maintain precise records for invoices, payments, and customer files.
* Finance & Month-End Exposure: Assist the team with month-end processes, including tracking procurement costs in our ERP system and supporting timely billing.
* Continuous Improvement: Participate in team meetings and contribute fresh ideas to ongoing process improvement initiatives.

Are you a MATCH?

* Education: Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; a true team player.
* Skills: Strong time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
* Tech Savvy: Confident using Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) or Microsoft Office.
* Attributes: Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within a small team.
* No prior experience is required, though any previous internship or project experience in logistics/customer service is a plus!
