Join our Security Operations Center team and protect Jacobs's infrastructure and resources. We'll rely on you to provide support to our teams on critical projects while fostering a culture of continuous learning as you bring fresh ideas to the table.

You'll support your team reducing SIEM/SOAR workload via alert triage, detection tuning, automation, and audit-ready documentation/KPI reporting. You may be asked to perform additional tasks related to the position under the supervision of your manager.

We offer a 3-month paid summer internship starting in July 2026.

Here's what you'll need

* Currently studying Cybersecurity, InfoSec, Systems/Network Eng., Computer Science or similar field of study
* Availability to work min. 20 hours per week
* Good written and spoken English
* Eager to learn and gain experience in Cybersecurity
* Familiarity with SIEM solutions
* Ability to follow operational procedures
* Ideally, you'll also have scripting fundamentals (Python/PowerShell); JSON/API familiarity; and/or Cloud fundamentals (Azure/AWS)
