This Position reports to:IS Manager for Offensive Security

We are looking for an Offensive Security Intern to support ABB's Red Team within the Cyber Fusion Center. This role offers hands-on exposure to penetration testing, vulnerability management, and real-world adversarial attack simulations under the guidance of senior security specialists.

Responsibilities
* Support senior Red Team members during security assessments and penetration tests
* Assist in identifying, validating, retesting, and documenting vulnerabilities
* Operate offensive security tools and support technical report creation
* Support the vulnerability remediation process in collaboration with security and IT teams
* Under supervision, run security tools and help create basic automation scripts
* Collaborate with Blue Teams and other cybersecurity stakeholders

Requirements
* Active student in a cybersecurity or related field
* Good understanding of offensive security and application security basics
* Basic scripting skills (e.g. Python, Shell)
* Familiarity with Linux, common network protocols, and security tools (e.g. Kali Linux, Nmap, Burp Suite)
* Interest in penetration testing platforms or certifications (e.g. Hack The Box, TryHackMe, CEH, OSCP - nice to have)
* Fluent English
